Montuno Is the Logos
Track 2: "Montuno" – Breakdown and Analysis. This is another original from my Christmas album. A special thanks to songwriter Joe Mach, and his lyrical wizardry for helping me pull this one out of the trash can. If you're ready for a long-winded chat that includes mouth-trombone demonstrations and Montuno theologizing, here are 22 glorious minutes of pure Rigel. If you make it to the end, I will gladly confirm your inner-circle status.
Music Challenge: Spot the Christmas classic I quote near the end of the song.

Special thanks to John Steurer for his iconic late-'90s cowbell pep-band performances at every PTHS basketball and football game. Never forget.
PS: I’m toying with the idea of creating my own version of the Bible, where I retranslate "Logos" from "Word" to "Montuno." Here's a sample:
John 1:1: "In the beginning was the Montuno, and the Montuno was with God, and the Montuno was God."
Romans 10:17: "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the Montuno of Christ."
1 Peter 1:23: "Since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding Montuno of God."
John 1:14: "And the Montuno became flesh and dwelt among us..."
I mean, I'm just gettin' started! Happy holidays to everyone!
